Machine Vision & Glass Inspection Systems
At Viprotron North America, I work with industrial machine-vision systems for architectural glass used in commercial and residential buildings. My work connects scanner deployments and service coordination with the equipment, software, networking, and people around them.
Professional experience · Project management & integration
01 / The context
Understanding the whole problem.
Industrial deployments cross technical and organizational boundaries. Equipment needs to work in its operating context, while the people involved need a shared understanding of requirements, next steps, and handover.
02 / The approach
How the pieces fit.
What Viprotron does
Viprotron develops automated glass-inspection systems for quality control during manufacturing. Its product range inspects glass at stages such as fabrication, tempering, laminating, and insulating-glass production. Depending on the system, inspection can identify optical defects such as scratches, bubbles, and inclusions, or assess issues such as waviness and anisotropy.
Where my work fits
I lead scanner deployments and the service lifecycle, including installation, calibration, software configuration, troubleshooting, and remote support. Project coordination, operator training, and customer handover help turn the installed equipment into a system people can use and maintain.
Coordinate delivery
Support installation planning and project workflows around technical deployments.
Work across interfaces
Bring hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting to integration work, including machine-vision equipment.
Support the handover
Connect commissioning work with documentation and customer training so the system can be understood beyond installation.
03 / What it demonstrates
Technical work, in context.
This experience connects hands-on troubleshooting with the human side of technical delivery: coordination, communication, and helping people use the resulting system.
Design considerations
- Understand the operating environment before installation.
- Connect equipment and software troubleshooting with clear customer communication.
- Include documentation and training in the handover.
